With regard to Home School Student Athletes in the State of Oregon, Rugby Oregon abides by the guidance of the Oregon State Athletic Association (OSAA), the governing body for High School Student Athletes in Oregon. Eligibility Forms are located at the osaa.org website under Governance Forms.
Most Home Schooled Student Athletes will need the Home School Eligibility Parent Checklist completed and submitted to info@rugbyoregon.com
Washington Interscholastic Athletic Association
With regard to Home School Student Athletes in the State of Washington, Rugby Oregon abides by the guidance of the Washington State Athletic Association (WIAA), the governing body for High School Student Athletes in Washington. Eligibility Forms are located at the wiaa.com website on the Student Eligibility page under the section “Eligibility Resources” Maintaining Academic Eligibility: How do I protect my eligibility if I am receiving education outside of my high school?
Most Home Schooled Student Athletes will need the Home-Based Education School Contract completed and submitted to info@rugbyoregon.com. For the purpose of this document, the Athletic Director is the Head Coach of the Student Athlete’s team.
Competitions Committee
The Rugby Oregon Competitions Committee is charged with addressing requests for exception to team rosters, as well as clarification and adoption of match-related policies. The committee will research roster exception requests and adjudicate on them.
