Safety Education and Background Screening Policy
USA Rugby, USA Youth and High School Rugby, and Rugby Oregon strive to provide a safe environment for everyone. In keeping with the standards of many sports organizations in America today, USA Rugby and USA Youth and High School Rugby have implemented a safety education policy and background screening process that helps ensure that the environment in its athletic programs at every level is as safe as possible. To this end, the organization requires annual training from, and performs criminal background screenings on, all coaches, administrators, volunteers and referees registered to all rugby teams and referee societies. The following requirements must be complete and current in order to work directly with Rugby Oregon players. Please send a copy of completion to info@rugbyoregon.com and retain a copy of all certifications for your reference.
